Maternity Leave Budget Planner
Work out what maternity leave actually pays you, and how many weeks of it you can afford.
Microsoft Excel◆Google Sheets◆.xlsx file
Most baby planners stop at a shopping list. This one does the money. It applies the UK statutory maternity pay rules week by week, adds your employer's own scheme on top the right way round - the greater of the two each week, never both added together - and tells you the week your pay steps down and the week the savings run out. Then it answers the question you actually have, which is how many weeks you can afford, and it is allowed to say the whole year does not fit. Every rate is an editable, dated cell. It is an arithmetic tool, not financial, tax or legal advice.
