Car Running Cost Tracker
Your car costs more than the fuel you put in it. This works out how much.
Microsoft Excel◆Google Sheets◆.xlsx file
Most car spreadsheets are a list of what you spent. This one counts the money that never shows up on a receipt: the value your car quietly loses while it sits on the drive, which for most cars is the single biggest line. Put in what you paid, what you think it is worth today and your fill ups, and it tells you what the car actually costs you per mile and per month. MPG is measured between full tanks from your own odometer readings, services and MOT are due by miles and by date, whichever lands first, and it runs backwards too - tell it your monthly budget and it works out the mileage that buys.

The number a fuel log cannot show you.
